RIFF’s Health Defenders section reveals poster

The Health Defenders section of the Resistance International Film Festival (RIFF) has revealed a poster.

The poster was unveiled in the presence of some Iranian officials, including Saeed Namaki, Iran’s health minister.

The minister emphasized on the necessity of showing the health crew sacrifices in fighting against coronavirus.

He said, “The coronavirus outbreak happened years after Iraq-Iran war and burdened us with a wave of challenges, and this time the health crew is defending us in this new frontline”.

More than 370 entries on Health Defenders have been submitted to the festival’s secretariat so far. Most of the submissions are from the US, Brazil and Spain.

The RIFF, one of the most prestigious international film festivals in Iran, is dedicated to productions on wars and the repercussions of armed conflicts in the world.

The 16th RIFF will be held on September 21-27, 2020.
